A massive Tornado outbreak that hit the eastern parts of NC back in March 1984. Numerous F4's were reported in parts on Sampson, Duplin, and Pitt counties....among others.
Just imagine what they must have been like! When we have severe weather warnings it seems at most we get F0 or F1 touchdowns. But 1984 was a special day (not in a good way).
